Passionate about Web Design Technology FinTech Problem Solving Innovation Creativity Gaming

I’m from Scotland with a Master’s in Financial Technology and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. I have a strong interest in the intersection of technology, creativity and finance, which is why I’m excited to explore opportunities across these fields.

Whether it is creating user-friendly designs, exploring new financial technologies, or getting involved in entrepreneurial ventures, I’m driven by a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

What really excites me is the change to take ideas and transform them into something tangible and meaningful, whether through design, technology or creative projects.

Lego NES Stop-Motion Build

This is a personal project where I built the LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System. I shot it with a Sony A5100 (24MP) with a 1/30 shutter speed, f/5.6 aperture and ISO 320, capturing 4,834 photos in total. Edited in DaVinci Resolve. Part 1 completed. Part 2 in post production.

Blender/Unity Animation

For my games programming course at university, I created 3D models in Blender, learning how to use the camera, textures and lighting to bring them to life. After modelling, the project was brought into Unreal Engine for animation and rendering. I chose a space theme, focusing on atmosphere, detail and movement to create an immersive scene.

Game Trailer

As part of my Music and Sound for Video games course with the Academy of Music and Sound. I was given a game trailer without sound and tasked with created the full audio design. Using FMOD and Unity, I added sound effects, music and ambiance while learning about industry practices in game audio implementation. This project gave me hands on experience in how sound enhances immersion and storytelling in games.

SuperHero Game

As part of my Games Programming course, I worked in a team of five to develop a game using Unity and Unreal Engine. My role focused on the design aspect, where I designed the background and placed game assets to create an immersive atmosphere. I worked closely with the team to ensure the visual style aligned with the gameplay mechanics and helped create a cohesive final product.

BFI Film Academy - Egg

In the BFI Film Academy Network Programme, I worked as an editor alongside one other person. Throughout the course, we learned about filmmaking and we were involved in the post-production and editing process. using professional Apple editing software in the RCS suites, we edited and refined footage to create a polished final product.

BFI Animation

As part of the BFI Film Academy Residential Camp in Bristol, I worked in a team of 5 to create an animated project. I contributed to the animation, provided a narrative voice, and helped with the sound design.

Viking Village

As part of my Music and Sound for Video Games course with the Academy of Music and Sound, I worked on a project called Viking Village. The game environment was already build, but I had to design and implement all the sound. Using FMOD and Unity, I added sound effects, music and ambiance to bring the world to life. I also used the camera in Unity to capture the scene, ensuring the audio and visuals worked together.

Loot Box Pokemon

For my undergraduate dissertation, I developed a Pokemon Loot Box Game using React.js and Vite. I designed the website and implemented a system where players start with a set amount of points. They can choose to open either a high-value pack, which costs more points but has a chance of containing valuable cards, or a low-value pack, which costs fewer points but has lower rewards. The cards, fetched from an API, have real-world values, and their worth is added back to the players total after opening a pack. The project was built and tested in Visual Studio Code.

Brick Animation

I created a stop-motion animation called Ice Cream Stop using a stop-motion app. This project allowed me to experiment with frame-by-frame animation.

D3 Data Visualisation

As part of a Data Visualisation course at university, I created an interactive project focused on health and COVID-19. Using D3.js, I designed animated and interactive visualisations.
